The Lyon Family

The Lyon family were such a blast to photograph! We are so honored to meet such genuine, kind people throughout our photography journey and the Lyons family was no exception! It was such a blast getting to capture some one year old photos and capturing such a special moment in time as a family! The laughs we shared together made our job so effortless!

Movement and walking can help loosen things up and make for some cute candids of the whole family. Sometimes our prompts may feel a littel awkward, but we promise they turn out cute :)

This big sister loves her little brother - and we loved capturing their sweet selves together during this shoot.

It's important to remember that while you may not feel super comfortable having your photo taken, imagine how your littles feel! Sometimes they really love the camera, but sometimes they shy away. We love to take a little bit of extra time to allow the little ones to get out any energy and take the time to explain to them what we are doing because sometimes it can really help!

We try to find locations for photos with a variety of backgrounds and looks. The overcast skies on this particular day made for some great lighting and we were able to get some cute family photos in front of the river.

Black and white photos hold a special place in our hearts. Black and white photos show memories in a classic and warm way. We always like to put some in each galery we deliver!

We can't forget one of the reason's for this shoot was to celebrate this little guy's first birthday! We love to celebrate milestones and are happy to combine with family photos or do a standalone session.

We had so much fun with the Lyon Family and are so lucky to be able to capture their cute family!
